Slug

The slug is the part of the url that comes after paperboat.website. For example, the slug of this post is blog-posts. It is set automatically but you can also choose your own. Traditionally, it is in hyphenated lower case form.

Content Blocks

A blog post consists of multiple content blocks. At the moment, there are text blocks and image blocks.

Text Blocks

Summary / Preview

The first content block is used for the preview that people see who follow you. To control the length of the preview, just use another text block and continue writing there. The text from the first text blocks will be visible in the preview while the second block will be hidden from it.

Image Blocks

An image block allows you to upload an image. You can insert a caption (shown if you check the option Show caption below image). It is used as an alt text if you choose to hide the caption instead.
